Check out my airbrushing......
Hello.
I would like for everyone here to see a picture I airbrushed.
I am an amateur photographer and I was recently hired to do a photoshoot for a Qinceanera. I am not extremely advanced, but I am an inexpensive and reliable atlernative to the pricey photogs.
I have only been airbrushing pictures for the past 6 months. I would like to hear your comments and suggestions on my airbrushing job as I am fairly new to airbrushing and any advice or critiques would help me out.
BTW, the after picture is the cover for the 400 invitations that will be made.

I'm no expert either, but I think you did a pretty good job. How did you shape the girl's eyebrows? She's a cute girl btw.

To reshape the eyebrows I used a tool called "liquify" wich lets me play around the pciture as if it was putty. Then after that I leave quite a bit of a mess after reshaping so I use the clone tool and clone "good" skin from the forehead onto the eyebrow area where it doesn't look very natural. After that I also used a sort of brush in a shade of black to perfectly align the eyebrow. Finally I use a tool called contrast to make it blend into the skin a bit more naturally.
It's actually a multi-step process. You work a bit on the eyebrow, then you save it as a separate picture several times throughout the entire airbrushing process. It makes it easier if you don't like the ending result, because you don't have to start from the beginning.

Looks great. The only thing I'd suggest is to edit out the clear bra straps.

Re: Check out my airbrushing......
Great job. The 'after' looks natural. I wouldn't have known that anything had been done to it if there wasn't a 'before' presented.

I tried that because I didn't like them either, but I can't make it look extremely natural. I will try one more time tonight with a different technique and see how it comes out.

Re: Check out my airbrushing......
It looks really great Jetis!
Just for the eyebrows though, you could make them look a bit more real, by running a filter over them (I think it's called noise?) just a bit, it adds more pixelation and a tiny bit of grain and it makes it look super realistic!
You can do that to any area that looks too "blurry" and if you feel it looks too airbrushed as well

It looks really good, but the dress is a whole different color. Do they still like it?

Re: Check out my airbrushing......
Yes they wanted me to give the top a new color that wasn't as flashy as the hot pink.
BTW, thanks SVZ. I am going to try what you said.
