Default My D: and E: drives have disappeared

Today when I turned on my cmputer my D and E drives(which are my DVD player and DR Rom) have disappeared off my computer. I cannot find them at all. Anyone knows how i can get them back

I would help but I am computer thick...my D drive is also missing

Maybe you have a loose cable. Open it up & check the connections. If not, you could have any number of problems...
