Do you eBay
Just wondered if anyone used eBay?
My boyfriend is a fanatic with over 1000 feedbacks and 3 seperate accounts. I won't tell you what he sells because it's too embarassing but he's been registered for a couple of years and has never had any bad experiences.
Anyone else use it for buying or selling?
Any good or bad experiences?

Re: Do you eBay
God you're loving these polls lately aren't you bella??
I had a bad experience with ebay to begin with. Not being use to it I jumped in to buy a pair of shoes that were the wrong size, when I relaised and tried to politely explain to the seller, he went a bit psycho sending me quite nasty emails saying that it was my own fault blah blah blah. So I gave him negative feedback and he went even worse, I just ignored him then ended up having to create a brand new account to shake him off!
Now, I absolutely love it, just bought a brand new Hookah pipe from their yesterday for just £30 inc p&p!!

Re: Do you eBay
Aren't you full of questions today?!
I use ebay yes, not fanatically though. I've bought things for my house that I could make a good saving on like a computer, microwave, duvets and telephones.
Had one bad experience, was bidding for a friend but we didn't read the listing properly, the member was trading from Hong Kong so the postage was massive, he had really bad rep points and the rep was kept private for obvious reasons I guess. I paid for the item and waited a month, sent emails, was ignored so I refunded through paypal, suddenly he turned abusive sending emails demanding I remove his neg rep. He's banned now but at least it's made me more wary.

Re: Do you eBay
I have an account but used it maybe twice in 3-4 years, I sold a pair of boots that a friend had given me because they were too small for her but they were too big for me, and a cool watch that was alas too heavy for my delicate wrist
My ex eBays all the time, sometimes when he sells he'll ask me to place a higher bid to liven up the auction, it usually works

Re: Do you eBay
I sometimes use my old account to outbid myself if I decide I don't actually want something or I find it somewhere else cheaper

Re: Do you eBay
I read your post too quick Monkey and saw,
I buy....in fact I have two new bras coming to me any day now. I found that i can get my unusual size much cheaper off there than in a specialty shop!
I have a 86 back, all positive!

Re: Do you eBay
I buy and sell. I'm pretty honest so I have 100% feedback. I've had a few nightmares but I've found that Ebay is really good about getting your money back.

Re: Do you eBay
We've got power seller status are on 1006 feedbacks, of which one is negative. It was left by an absolute cretin months ago who didn't understand the significance of feedback and it was over something incredibly minor. He's left now anyway, so nothing can be done!

Re: Do you eBay
Yes neutral is okay because it doesn't count or damage someone's reputation, but I hate theses people who sign up, leave a negative and then bugger off. No consideration
My boyfriend has heartbroken when we got a neg (well not quite, but you know what I mean!)

Re: Do you eBay
Well that bastard who gave me one for daring to get my money back for a non received item was sure to get a negative. I even clicked down on the mouse extra hard to hurt him!

Re: Do you eBay
I have never even been to the ebay site ... how's that for sad?
I do go over to Amazon quite often and drool over all the cheap cookbooks that I can't buy because I don't have a credit card! [These guys really should have other payment options.]

Re: Do you eBay
I buy and sell. We usually end up buying and selling things from the same category- kids toys.
Cleans out the house for a few days. Easier than a garage sale.

Re: Do you eBay
Want to know what fun is? Try going on ebay and listening to Weird Al's song Ebay at the same time. Love it. Laugh my ass off. I have actually found the things he talks about buying!!!
