Twitter/IP Addresses

Is it possible to check another twitter user's IP Address? I'm not trying to creep. lol Someone is claiming they know two accounts have the same IP Address. I googled and got 'no' answers, but they're all from 3 or 4 years ago. Don't know if, with changes to Twitter, those answers are correct.

I think only Twitter admins can check IP addresses. It's a privacy thing. With some mad HaXxoRinG skillz it might be possible but inprobable.

So regular users can't see the IP addresses for other users.

Why couldn't 2 accounts have the same IP? Leann R has like 10.

^^^True. one person/IP could have multiple accounts. It's one external IP per internet connection (except for businesses). If there could be just one account per IP, that would mean one account per connection.

Sorry, was very vague with the first post about 2 people having same IP. There's just this complete WHACKO that's been twitter-harassing my boss. We received emails at the show address from people that apparently know the whacko, saying he's a constant liar, has stolen money from teammates, etc.
He's also claiming my boss has an "anonymous" account and he "just knows" the anon account is my boss. Said they have the same IP address, but I didn't think it was possible for people to check twitter IP addresses.

^^It's not possible to check a twitter user's IP.

Besides, one can access their account from different places so a twitter account isn't even really attached to an IP. So if you access your twitter account on a friend's computer, your account now has his/her IP address.
But if multiple people share the same internet connection, all their accounts would have the same IP address. It is possible that someone else is on the same connection your boss uses and has a Twitter account, but there's no way to check that.

But no one would ever know the two accounts are being used fro the same location, except for twitter admin staff.

I'd say the whacko is full of shit.
