Default Using Word

The bar along the top that has the options to change the font size, type etc has disappeared on my word documents. I must have dragged it off somewhere accidently. Any clues how to get it back?

Yes - go to 'View' then 'Toolbars' then choose the one that says 'Formatting'

Somewhere over on the far right side of the toolbar, start clicking & dragging it to the left. It's all hidden over there, smushed.

I HATE the newer versions of Word - too damn clever for their own good. I just want to type a document dammit!!! And I don't want my bullet points or numbered paras to be automatically reformatted thanks. And as for that FUCKING paperclip................ grrrrr

I used to feel so sorry for that paper clip when I shut him away, he looked so sad. I know I was a strange kid.
