Need help connecting a Home theatre system

I recently bought a Toshiba 40'' 1080p 60Hz LCD HDTV with Pioneer Six-Speaker Receiver Home Theatre System.
I hooked it up correctly but I can't seem to get any sound from the t.v to the receiver. I am hoping someone who has a Pioneer receiver can help me....thank you so much!!!!

If you've followed the instructions & got all the right cables in the right connector holes you probably need to speak to the seller.

I haven't used this product, but I never have any problem hooking my tv/dvd up to my stereo.
I usually get the job of sorting my friends' equipment out too - and I'll just ask, you have got the tv phono out going in to the systems phono in haven't you?.....

I figured it out. It was all connected correctly but It was a matter of setting the receiver to the proper setting. It was a headache but its working awesome now!
