Default Great Mac utility to free up memory

My Mac was running really slowly the past few days, and this program, Clean My Mac, came highly recommended. I downloaded the demo version here:
Apple - Downloads - System/Disk Utilities - CleanMyMac

ETA: Here's the program description:
Quote:
About CleanMyMac
Represents sophisticated all-in-one-suite utility that helps keep your Mac clean and healthy. With just two simple clicks you can delete useless files that basically pile up and waste your valuable disk space. CleanMyMac allows enjoying smooth system performance combining such vital features as Slim Universal Binaries, Clean Unneeded Languages, Logs Rotation, Clean Caches, Quick and Secure Erase, Application Uninstallation, and Killing Trash Left From Buried Applications. CleanMyMac can save gigabytes of disk space and enhance your computer speed. Go ahead and give it a shot! Your Mac will definitely be grateful!
I can't believe how easy and effective it is- it found almost 2,700 MB of system logs, extra languages that I didn't need, and pieces of extensions from applications I had removed. The whole process from scan to removal only took 5 minutes.

You can only remove 200 MB with the demo version, but the full version is only $30 and you can download and purchase it here: MacPaw - the right Paw you were looking for

I HIGHLY recommend this- after removing all that junk, my computer is running much better and faster already.

I just downloaded this.. I've only had my mac for a few months and I've noticed it's been running a bit slow/freezing up a bit if I open certain applications.... I just hate the idea of only being able to free up a limited amount of space without paying $30.
