Unless you have them lifted when the bags come out, I'd think you're right.
After reading a couple threads about celebs having implants taken out I was wondering why this procedure wouldn't result in something really hideous/messed up. It would seem to me that the inner tissue surrounding the implant would become sort of attached. And the skin around the breast would become permanently stretched to accommodate the volume of the implant.
So, I was thinking that removing the implant would result in a much saggier breast than before, as well as what would almost look like a depression where the breast was before. Is that the case, though?

Saggy skin, yes. Depression, no.
And as for the "becoming attached to the implant" if they do my guess is that they just cut the adhesions out of the way....
I guess that most aktresses have a bit of a tighten up when they have the implants removed.
I dont think the skin becomes attached. The implant is in a pocket that is made before the implant is positioned in. I have implants that will be replaced in 2 years, I have often thought about having them taken out altogether but was told by my CS that it would results in some sagging because there is no muscle to hold anything up and yes the skin has been stretched to accomodate the larger size. They can do a laser bra or a lift to help with that but you wont have the roundness.

ah! thanks Cupcake - I was just thinking about what my surgeon did last time - but it wasn't PS.... he had a hard time due to the adhesions and had to remove them before doing the usual op stuff.
yeah, not sure what im in for when the time comes, cant be any worse that when they originally went in. Mine were put in through my armpit, how about you?

LOL! I'd be upset if it had been a mastectomy! It wasn't and I consider myself very lucky for that!
You are lucky! Stay healthy!

I've always been under the impression that you really can't take out an implant without putting a new one in, because when the implants are put in the surgeon removes the breast tissue to make a pocket for the implant

That probly heals. I have heard of people having them taken out but Im sure they would be loose and sag some.

You can always just get a lift for the sag if there is any. I wish you the best with this.

No, the natural tissue stays (it sits on top of the implant, I can feel mine) and the pocket is just created for implant placement. Some natural tissue does have to go upon removal if she had scar tissue. Unless she went super big, sagging won't be a problem.
I'm contemplating a removal also but have yet to decide if I end up removing or replacing.
