    Default Tracey Emin's breast-reduction

Tracey Emin, one-time enfant terrible of the British art scene, is revelling in her new svelte figure after having breast-reduction surgery.
The 46-year-old, famous for works such as her unmade bed, decided to go under the knife after failing to reduce her bust through a low-calorie diet.

Before and after: Tracey Emin says her breast reduction operation has banished neckache, backache and headaches

Tracey told me: ‘I had the operation because I was a 34G. I lost a stone on the diet but my breasts were getting bigger. This was causing problems that could get worse as I approach the menopause.
'I’m now a very happy 34DD without neckache, without backache and headaches.’
Tracey says she has taken up running again now that it is no longer painful.
‘I’ve not kept it secret,’ she added. ‘Everybody knows. I’ve been out celebrating. I’d advise any woman to do the same.’

She looks happier after having her boobs reduced, but jeebus, look at that face. Is she constipated or what?

She reminds me of Samantha Ronson in the face.

She should have fixed her face instead and kept those hot boobies.

Not only that, but every time a woman gets her breasts reduced God kills a kitten, it's very sad

she definitely should've fixed her face instead of her boobs.

I had the operation because I was a 34G. I lost a stone on the diet but my breasts were getting bigger. This was causing problems that could get worse as I approach the menopause.
    how is that even possible?

It's possble. Motherhood changed my C/D boobs to G+ shockers so I had them reduced. Best thing I ever did.

I have a consult for this surgery in August. I'm finally getting the courage to see about doing this - the headaches and backaches are constant. You can have too much of a good thing.

i can't even imagine having an E cup, so good for you! it makes sense that they're getting bigger due to pregnancy even though you lose weight, but without being pregnant? (i don't know if she was pregnant, the article doesn't mention it so assumed she wasn't.)

Are American and British bra cup sizes identical? She looks like she's got a pair of maybe DD or DDDs in pre-reduction.

It's interesting that she says her breasts have gotten bigger despite a reduction diet as she marches toward menopause.

I have DDs right now which are usually occur when I need to lose 20 lbs. But I don't need to lose 20 lbs now (7 would be nice!) so why are my breasts so big? Based on past boob/weight experience, I should be probably be a D cup. What gives? All I know is that my DDs on a 5 foot 1 inch frame are uncomfortable now - I really can't handle these things getting much bigger as I get older and my body changes. O the joys of getting older.

I have often thought about having this done, I have 30F, but I'm scared of surgery. Also I think I have the kind of skin that doesn't heal well. I never realized that it could contribute to headaches, though.
