Why are there scars behind Angeline Jolie’s ears?
Why are there scars behind Angeline Jolie’s ears? They are somewhat faint, but still visible to the naked eye. When people get face lifts, incisions are made between two and four inches above the ear and then around the front of the ear, around the earlobe into the crease behind the ear, and into or along the hairline behind the ear. Angelina is only 33. Would she really need a facelift? The scars are very surprising to me.
(An alert reader just notified me that surgery that pulls back overly prominent ears can leave scars like that. Hmmm, interesting.)

She's been wearing sunglasses and they've left marks on her head. It happens to me all the time in the very same place.

If it isn't from the sunglasses it could be from another kind of surgery. A mastoidectomy is surgery to remove diseased or infected bone behind the ears.

I've watched over 20 facelifts performed & those scars are not facelift scars.
If the marks on her neck are real, not photoshopped, they were not left by a plastic surgeon.
Maybe she had a melanoma or non-malignant lump removed....?
Those look like the kind of scars a dermatologist would leave if something was removed.
Plastic surgeons do not leave scars (unless they're bad doctors).

i also had to laugh at some of those comments especially the ones suggesting that Angelina looks like someone aged 50+. Yeah i hate her too but come on at least be intelligent with your insults. Looks like the marks from sunglasses or a headband.

i think some of the posters on that site are so smart! they say things like hows she's older than she says and how she's had jaw-line work done/augmented and nose jobs.

She is getting filler injections into her top lip, has an obvious nose job, had lower eyelid surgery and had treatments to resurface her skin. I believe the scras could possibly be the results of a lift to make her jawline more defined.

agree with this one for instance!

I thought the sunglasses comments were funny - what, did the stems go right through her outer ear to end up back there at that angle? I guess they ran out of imagination to come up with what the stitch marks might be.
This one is interesting:

The arms of the sunglasses sit on top of the ear, they don't go through it.
Meh. Not interesting at all unless she also has the scars in front of the ears, which she doesn't.
