She openly admits her seemingly everlasting youthful looks are in part thanks to Botox.
But as she nears 60, Lulu has stopped having the wrinkle-smoothing injections - because too much of it made her face "immovable".
The singer said: "I used to have Botox and I thought it was fantastic at first. But it quickly fades. Too much of it makes your face immovable and it doesn't actually help you to look young. So I stopped."

Botox treatments cost £300 to £400 a time, and Harley Street cosmetic surgeon Aposotolos Gaitanis said Lulu would probably have had such treatments every four to six months.
Lulu said she would happily have cosmetic surgery. "I would consider surgery in the future but, as with everything, it's a case of going to the best person and having it done in moderation," she said.
"I never go out looking like a bag lady and I even put on lip gloss to walk the dogs. I'll be trying to look my best until I'm 80 and beyond, God willing."
Talking about her evergreen appearance, she said: "I don't wake up in the morning and say, 'Oh, you gorgeous thing'.
"But sometimes you put on the right outfit, your hair's looking just right and your skin's glowing and you think, 'You don't look bad for an old girl'."
Lulu, who turns 60 in November, said she kept in shape with dancing lessons, yoga and walking.
"I'm so careful with my diet, eating three healthy, balanced meals. But I always make sure I have a daily treat, whether it's a piece of chocolate, a cookie or a bit of dessert."
She told the magazine Good Housekeeping: "To me, feeling good about yourself as you get older is all about your attitude - if you think you're old, you'll feel old.
"It's important to be open to new experiences. I recently went to Disneyland for the first time in 20 years. "There were three of us 60-year-olds on a rollercoaster, screaming our heads off. It was white knuckles all the way and I loved it."
