She's lucky. My friend had a botox injection for a neck injury
(honest!) and the doctor warned him that botox can paralyze
you for up to six months if it gets into your system the wrong way.
Still, I suspect botox wouldn't help her. *ducks*
"moo moo lips"?THE LIFE AQUATIC star ANGELICA HUSTON has sworn off Botox injections after her face froze during her last cosmetic procedure.
The actress had received collagen injections in the past, but was persuaded by her doctor to give Botox a try.
She explains, "It wasn't a very good thing. I'll be honest, once in awhile I have a little collagen - but not in the lips, I don't like those big moo-moo lips. I went to a doctor who said, 'Angelica, we have this wonderful new thing, it's called Botox. He took a huge needle and plunged it into my third eye.
"The pain was something inexplicable. I gasped, I writhed and when I came to, I had a headache that lasted four days. A serious one."
Huston's husband, artist ROBERT GRAHAM, immediately noticed something was different about his wife's appearance.
She adds, "I went home to my husband that night - he's a sculptor he has a good eye and he said, 'What have you done?' I said, 'Nothing,' and he said, 'No, you've had something done.'
"A little bit later that night we were having dinner in a restaurant and he was telling me some horrible story. I would say, 'Oh, that's really ghastly,' and I had no expression whatsoever. We got into a terrible fight".

i just saw her give this interview on Ellen yesterday. i think she looks alright for her age
I had Botox for a neck injury. when you are in enough pain, you'll try anything. It did help relax those muscles. I only had one series of injections because insurance wouldn't cover more. It's very expensive, about $1,000 a session.
ROFL moomoo lips
I am from the American CIA and I have a radio in my head. I am going to kill you.
I love AH! At least she's honest about it all.
This story is bs. I've had botox between my eyebrows (only) and it certainly doesn't take effect immediately. It's at least two days before anything happens and two full weeks before the full effect sets in. I don't have any wrinkles on my face except for my frown line and I think botox is wonderful for that, all it stops you from doing is frowning, your face is not paralyzed.
I adore that woman![]()
I love Anjelica Huston. She's had minimal work and let herself age pretty gracefully-and is infinitely more attractive because of it.
I gained a new liking for her ever since she did The Royal Tenenbaums and Life Aquatic. She scared the hell out of me in The Witches!

It depends where, how much, how potent ....
This story is pure BS. No, it does not take effect immediately, and you can barely feel the infections. I had it done a while back between my eyebrows for some mild frown lines. They are gone now. It did not "freeze" my face or eyebrows, and it did not hurt. No one that knows me or is close to me even noticed. I'm getting really sick of all the negativity and these BS stories. And all this talk about "frozen faces" on these forums...I don't buy it. I guess if too much of it is injected in the wrong way, maybe, but that's not the point. It's great if used correctly. Geez people, let's be realistic once in a while. Everyone that works in my dermatogist's office has it injected face wide, and I never noticed anything unusual about the way they look. I never even knew until they told me. They look beautiful and do not look weird or expressionless, with "frozen faces". Enough already!
Angelica is so beautiful. Why would she think she needed botox in the first place?
