Her daughter Kim Kardashian has been whipping herself into shape with an array of gruelling workouts for her up-and-coming nuptials to NBA star Kris Humphries.

And it appears that mother-of-the bride Kris Jenner is also eager to look her best for the 30-year-old's televised wedding, now reportedly set for August 20, next month.

The 55-year-old mother-of-six is understood to have gone under the knife to rejuvenate her look with a facelift.

But if she was hoping to keep it a secret, it seems her outspoken daughter Khloe didn't get the memo.

According to the New York Daily News Gatecrasher column, Khloe let slip that her mother had a facelift about 'a month ago.'

Khloe stated: 'She looks amazing. They say you are supposed to have a lot of swelling for a week or so after, but I didn't notice.'

Sources told the column that Kim wants to make sure 'it's the most lavish event possible - no matter what it costs.'
'Kim really does want it to be America's version of the royal wedding,' says the source.
Meanwhile, Page Six has reported that Kim has settled on the date of August 20 for her big day, which will also be filmed for her reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

The couple expected to have separate bachelor/bachelorette parties at clubs Tao and Lavo in Las Vegas later this month.

The bash follows the couple's engagement party, which took place at Khloe's LA mansion last month.
Khloe, whose own 2009 wedding to husband Lamar Odom was planned in just nine days following the couple's whirlwind romance, enlisted the help of her former wedding planner, Sharon Sacks.

'She has exquisite taste!' Kim told Life & Style of the in-demand celebrity planner, who has also designed nuptials for both Jennifer Lopez and Christina Aguilera.

The more I see of these Kardashian people the more I hate them. Kris is a pretentious pimp. None of them would be famous if Kim hadn't made her sex tape.
