Joan Jett's new face

Joan Jett is probably around 50 or so years old. She looks better than she ever has recently. Some do not care for her new cheek implants and also describe her new look as ’surprised’. But, I think she looks good with the work she had done: rhinoplasty, facelift, cheek implants, veneers.



You be the judge; quite honestly, she scares me! I read the comments below the article and laughed at the person who commented that she looks like Joyce Dewitt!

That's a good idea about the new thread -- maybe one of the mods will create a "Surprised Celebrity Facelift" thread for us.

I can't help but wonder, too, if it's painful for people who have had facelifts like that to smile, frown, etc. because the skin looks so tight!

Ha, she does look like Joyce DeWitt. That nose job is awful and totally unnecessary. Same with the cheek implants. The veneers aren't too bad. She does look surprised but maybe it is just the picture. I don't have anything against facelifts if they are well done. I don't know why they can't just leave it at that.

Cheekbone implants seem to hold the face up. Not sure how old the nose job is but it's a good one. Lord have mercy, I don't have any eye wrinkles and I'm heading in her direction.

It's too funny when I think about seeing the Runaways. They must have been 17.

things fall around age 56, well so says the Peach and all her peachy friends. Everything sort of slips and you get f'in jowls, I didn't take that bit of news very well. My mom had naturally high cheekbones and until the day she passed they pretty much looked the same.

Thing is I don't think Joan Jett ever had prominent cheek bones which makes her look like she has dough balls under skin.

What are these people thinking, you've got the surprised look and the I can't stop smiling look.

I don't like my face aging either, who does but it's so sad that these people think they actually look good.

I think aging celebs have cheek implants to replace the firmness that has since been lost in their face. Makes the face more round, more youthful...

Facelifts all seem to have this weird quality about their skin. It looks so different. I can't describe it, but always notice it in people who have a dramatic first lift.
