The Concubine by Norah Lofts. It's about Anne Boleyn. Published in the early '60s I believe.

Re: What Are You Currently Reading??
I'm still reading The Dispossessed, but I've also picked up Neil Gaiman's Anansi Boys, which my BF got me for Christmas. Screw waiting, I can read both. Gaiman rocks.

I just finished reading 'I Married a Communist' by Philip Roth for the 11 millionth time. Has to be one of the best books ever. I just can't get enough of it.

Memoirs of Hadrian by Marguerite Yourcenar while I commute to work.

I'm reading The Devil Wears Prada.
I wouldn't exactly describe it as enlightening but it's entertaining!

Re: What Are You Currently Reading??
I'm about a third of the way through. Did you enjoy it Monkey?
As I read it, I thought it seemed like something they'd make into a movie. I tried to imagine who would play the main character but didn't come up with anyone. I don't like Anne Hathaway for the main character though.
I just looked it up--- Meryl Streep as Miranda? I don't like that either.

Re: What Are You Currently Reading??
The Food Revolution by John Robbins and The Making of Bigfoot by Greg Long.
Long claims this book proves the infamous Patterson film was a fake. I find this interesting, because the film is still being studied by experts today and the authenticity question has never been resolved.
