The time I used to spend reading, I now spend on this board.
I have to get back into it though because it stimulates my mind....

I've always been a big reader and honestly HP is among my absolute favorites. The first book is simply a set up for a much more complex and interesting story. There are simple little things in the first few books though that become very important later on.

Finished up a biography called "As Vidas de Chico Xavier" ("The Lives of Chico Xavier"), by Marcel Souto Maior.
Began reading "Mecanismos da Mediunidade" ("Mechanisms of Mediunity"), by Francisco Cāndido Xavier and Waldo Vieira, and "Lindos Casos de Bezerra de Menezes" ("Bezerra de Menezes' Beautiful Cases"), by Ramiro Gama. This last author is a weirdo. He's a late journalist/poet, and it's annoying how he refers to himself in the first person of the plural.

Working on Choke by Chuck Palahniuk. For some reason I'm enjoying books that are pretty sickening right now.

I just finished The Incident of the Dog In the Night-time by Mark Haddon. Quirky, interesting read as it's written from the pov of an autistic kid who finds a dog "murdered" and decides to solve the crime.

That's such an unusual and sad-but-funny book. I really loved it!
I'm currently reading The Hound Of The Baskervilles by Arthur Conan Dolye - it's fantastic! So camp but yet so creepy!
