He turned them all into Thirst, 1 and 2 are the old book compiled and I'm halfway through 3. They have a way of sucking you in.

I don't want to say it's good, just sucks you in and Sita's narrative dialogue is hilarious as usual.

^^^^I saw that in Barnes & Noble the other day, I was going to get it but wasn't sure if I'd like it. How is it?

    Ishiguro: Never Let me Go

edit: finished Anno Dracula.. The first 200 pages were weak, as it started to become interesting suddenly it finished. And I was only halfway through the book! The rest of the papers were filled with the author's blah blah, acknowledgement, references etc. Pfff.

The Night Circus. Meh, it's overrated based on the reviews I've read. I should know better than to believe such glowing reviews about a first novel.

Christopher Pike? Man, I used to read his books as a kid. Didn't realize he was writing books for adults too. Might have to look into it.

I keep trying to get through The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo but I keep getting stuck.

Dean Koontz's What the Night Knows. This is my first Koontz book, and man, it's out there. I picked it up on a whim and had no idea what to expect, so when it veered off into the supernatural, I was surprised. Points for major creepiness, though.

When I'm hard up for something to read but broke (as now), I download a bunch of samples for my Kindle. It was a gift last Christmas but I'm totally a library person and prefer to get my books that way. Anyhoo, I like to get the free samples of books for the Kindles and peruse them when I am bored.

I just got a Kindle and I love it. They have a lot of the classics for free download on Amazon, so I'm reading those off and on b/c I'm cheap too.

Emma by Jane Austen. I really need to quit reading Jane Austen - it makes me pine for a Mr. Knightley or Colonel Brandon.

After finally finishing Blonde I've been on a reading frenzy the past few weeks. I've blown through The Hunger Games, Gene Tierney's autobiography, Beasts, two of the Sookie Stackhouse novels. Now I'm on Hell House.
