Finally finished 'Eclipse' by Stephenie Meyer. Surprisingly it wasnt bad. Id say it was the best 'Twilight' book so far and the interactions between Edward and Jacob really make the book shine. Bella kills it with her constant whining and guilt trips over how much pain she puts them through. I look forward to the movie and even more surprisingly, reading the final book and ending this series.

Marilyn Monroe: The Biography by Donald Spoto

Picked it up on a whim and thought I'd be bored silly by all the early stuff about her life (especially considering the book is over 750 pages), but it's a pretty good page turner.

Just got this yesterday. Based on all of the recommendations in the movie thread. Very enjoyable.

L.A. Candy by Lauren Conrad. Have no idea why I picked it up, beyond the fact that I thought it might be a trashy chick lit book to read at the beach. It's so mindless, I can't even follow it. I can believe that she may have actually written this without a ghostwriter.

Just started "Shadow" by Bob Woodward. It's about the effects of the Watergate legacy on the presidencies of Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush I and Clinton. I love stuff like this.

Somebody: The Reckless Life and Remarkable Career of Marlon Brando by Stefan Kanfer

I thought it was a decent read for the 6 dollars I paid for it at a used bookstore

^ Hee, I'm at A Dance with Dragons myself. I'm getting carpal tunnel just from holding up that brick of a book to read it.

Just started A Game of Thrones. I know what you mean about it being a brick of a book!

Im looking for a book to read now. I finished The Dresden Files book 5 'Death Masks' and am trying to think of something. Its between starting A Game Of Thrones or taking another crack at Wheel Of Time. Im thinking Game Of Thrones is much shorter and knows how to get to the point. Id take another attempt at The Vampire Chronicles series but I have yet to finish the first book. So many books, so little time.
