I'm reading Andre Aggasi's "Open". His father was an insane monster. It's a very interesting read.

i'm reading this right now. Just got it from the library yesterday. The first chapter really tells what an asshole his dad was.

I feel so sorry for Agassi, never having a choice about tennis. Really it was child abuse what his father did to him, and what his mother let happen.

i had a couple of classes like that during my 3 years in catholic schools. one was even taught by a monk in full robe and sandals (with socks). i got kicked out of class for being a smart-ass and starting a debate on abortion.

Complete Idiot's Guide to Zen Living.

I wish these books didn't have such demeaning titles. I know some people are put off by them and that's a shame because the ones I've read have been really good.

Open (Andre Agassi) just finished it. while i understand how his dad was, i just wanted to find Andre and smack him in the face. He seemed to find every negative piece of his life, and write about it, while pretty much limiting the good times, when he fell in love with Steffi. I'm over him.

Just finished Dead Until Dark, debating trying my hand at The Gunslinger for probably the millionth time. For some reason it always bores me and I give it up.
