I saw the movie Friday night. I liked it. My bf actually liked it too which surprised me.

The only book of the series I cried at was near the end of Eclipse. For those who have read it, basically the Jacob/Bella interaction, then the Edward reaction. That tugged at the heartstrings. The start of New Moon just flat out depressed me.

I'm just a little over half way through New Moon second time round and good GOD Bella gets more and more annoying. Jacob gets more and more endearing, however.

    ^THANK YOU!

    SERIOUSLY, is that not annoying!?!

Also, the way she always seems to have to remind us (whenever Alice or Edward are near Bella) that their skin is so white and perfect- as if they were carved out of marble.

OKAY, we get it! They are white and perfect and beautiful!

Doubt they ran off to the tanning salon since they last were mentioned 100 pages ago!

    **Edit:

JUST finished New Moon last night and it was worse than Twilight, imo...it's just...Bella is IMPOSSIBLE for me to like!

    I HATE HER.

I wish the volturi (highlight) would have killed her!!! :I

New Moon is worse than Twilight. But it reads better the second time, whilst Twilight loses some of its charm on later reads.

Bella is annoying. It makes me wonder why both Edward and Jacob maintain interest, she'd make me want to kill myself. Or change my phone number.

I'm reading Eclipse again. It's my favourite after Twilight I think. It's awesome.

I've been thinking on the Bella hatred, and I've come to the conclusion that because Stephenie Meyer doesn't put in any dialogue that doesn't forward the vampire/werewolf storyline, she seems empty. I still love her she develops a bit in Eclipse, and I think that's why I like the book.

New Moon is my fav of the series....honestly 'Breaking Dawn' is too fucking disturbing....like 'Rosemary's Baby' disturbing times ten. I love New Moon though, that's when you meet Aro ands Caius....then they all do nothing but TALK all through BD. You also meet Jacob, who I just realized is my FAV character of the series. He's just more real to me...human i guess.

I read that Dakota Fanning has been approached to play Jane of the Volturi in New moon.

I can see that. She would be good in the role of Jane.

Oooh she'd be quite good as Jane, methinks. If she could nail the sort of evil, dead look that Jane has she'd be really creepy.

Dakota on New Moon: "I Really Hope It Works Out"

Today 9:26 AM PST by Marc Malkin

Dakota Fanning may not be saying much about joining the cast of the Twilight sequel, but yesterday she did confirm she’s in talks to play Jane!

As I exclusively reported last week, the 14-year-old child star has been offered the role of the young killer bloodsucker in the movie adaptation of New Moon, the second book in Stephenie Meyer’s bestselling teenage vampire series.

"It's definitely possible. I really hope it works out," Fanning told Hitfix.com while promoting her latest flick Push. "It would be a really fantastic experience I'm sure."

Director Chris Weitz is so confident that Fanning is right for the part, he offered it to without even an audition. Filming of the much-anticipated flick begins in March in the U.S. and Italy.

A member of the deadly Volturi, Jane is described in a casting notice as a petite blonde with a “Botticelli angel-like face…[and] crimson irises.”

An online petition to cast Fanning as Jane has seen a huge bump in signatures ever since my story broke on Wednesday.

A rep for the studio, Summit Entertainment, reportedly confirmed Fanning is one of the actors being considered for the role.

If it happens, Fanning will join returning stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, among others. New Moon is set to open in November.

I don't hate Bella. I just think as a main character she is weak. In every sense of the word.

And Sophie, you meet Jacob in Twilight. And he is also possibly my favourite character too

I just started Eclipse, but I have to say, so far Alice is my absolute favorite character.

I finally read the first one on the suggestion (insistence) of a friend. I'm not sure if I really want to read the rest of them since a lot of people say it only goes downhill from here.
