Yeah the whole Draco with the wand thing was a bit confusing but I figured it out eventually.
I'm still in total freak out mode about it all hehe, I can't bring myself to read it again yet.
Apparently Arthur Weasley was supposed to die in book five, but JK decided not to kill him off. Awesome, I'm so pleased that he didn't die, that would have been too heartbreaking to deal with I think...although Fred was absolutely gutwrenching.
I think the saddest part of Dobby dying was the fact that it was because of his undying devotion to Harry that he was killed. He loved Harry so much because Harry set him free and treated him as an equal, and he was willing to sacrifice himself to save Harry. Oh I'm welling up just thinking about it. I think Harry's digging Dobby's Grave and then his dedication on his headstone was fitting, because of all the things Dobby did for Harry with his bare hands.
I wonder whatever became of Winky..

I re-read the chapter of Snape's Penseive last night.
I want to give Snape a hug if that's possible.

Poor Albus Severus... I wonder how much he'll ever know about the men he was named after.

I thought the exact same thing about Albus Severus Potter. Sure, he's named after two Hogwart's Headmasters but they were ever so flawed.
I loved that Dumbledore was more complex than we all initially thought. I loved the part of about him raising Harry up as a lamb who would go to slaughter. It made me loathe him for just a bit. In the end, he's a flawed, powerful creature who put up a great front.
I think people tend to reach really far for Snape. I never quite understood why there was so much confusion about his motives. Ever since the moment we all saw Snape being hung upsidedown by James, it was obvious Snape loved Lilly. So it seemed obvious to me that he watched over Harry for that reason alone. His contempt for Harry seemed real all along so I'm glad Jo didn't sugar coat or change that. In the end, he still disliked Harry. Right? That never changed. I think it would have been more fitting to have Harry continue to dislike Snape (though he may have gained some respect for him.) Using his name as his son's seemed too much to me. It didn't seem to follow suit.
Aside from that, why didn't Harry and Ginny name one of their kid's Fred dammit???

Yes, Mel. Yes, you are.
That begs the question....which character do you have a crush on? I admit, I think I'd love Harry too if I were at Hogwarts. How craptastic.

Mel, you crack me up.
Pervy? Maybe, but I thought the same thing. As a matter of fact, there's no evidence he kissed anyone, either.
I still have the hots for him, though, so what the fuck does that say about me?

Hahahaha Mel that's so wrong! Just because there's no pensieve memory of him getting it on doesn't mean he died a virgin, perhaps he found someone as equally slimy and crabby as himself! Alan Rickman totally made me fancy Snape.
I was always crushing on Sirius, I always pictured him to be totally gorgeous. Had I been in the school I'd probably have fancied Ron, Harry would have been too scary a prospect for a crush.

He must have serious issues at school. Albus Severus Potter. Can he live up to that name? I doubt it .
By the way . I loved the epilogue. I wanted my happily ever after

Me, too. I fancy Alan Rickman, anyway, but put him is a black robe and in a dungeon and that just ups the attraction.

Well, from the movies, I thought that Wood was awfully cute. And I would hope he'd live up to his name.

 Hadn't thought of that.
Although Moldy Warts did make a big song and dance about how there were others after Lily that Snape deigned to boogie with... or something. My copy of the book is up north with Mum at the moment.
