'I also have the odd moment when my brain has to pause to sort things out. The quintessential one is the glass revolving door. I have to approach it very carefully. It's glass. It's full of reflections. It's coming towards me and going away at the same time. I have to wait for a second or two before I go through.
Hold on... I have to do that and I'm damned certain that I haven't got alzheimers....

He has told his fans, who are legion, worldwide and mostly women, that he wants to retain a sense of optimism and cheerfulness.
I didn't know that - my friends who like Pratchett are male.... go figure....

You will never grow old. They will never say you died."

RIP. 66 is way too young to die of that fucking awful disease.

Goodbye dear Terry. I hope you were able to choose how you left this world. I hope the Death was kind to you.
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but *actually* from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint - it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly... time-y wimey... stuff.

Terry took Death’s arm and followed him through the doors and on to the black desert under the endless night.

Stop it, I'm crying again. Between Nimoy and this it's not easy being a geek these past few weeks.

    Those tweets were so amazing

What if Superman is psychotic and everyone can see that he's Clark Kent but they just play along not to set him off?

    very very sad about this.

It's not clear how he passed, but given his outspoken views on the right to die I'm assuming he chose to go when he wanted to, before his quality of life was too diminished.
