The Time Traveler's Wife- Audrey Neffenegger

Most awesomely random but perfectly written book I have ever read. I am lapping this up like a whore with coke after a job. It's just amazingly weird and odd... Of course, knowing me, I'll probably give up half way when a boring streak crosses the storyline... But so far it's addictive!!
Anyone read it?
I'm just waiting for the movie... Gerard Butler and Anna Friel, please.

I read it. I love that book, cried like a baby at the end. I found it a bit weird at the beginning but once I got used to it is was great.

It's fascinating and freaky, isn't it? It freaks me out because it's narrated in such detail that you'd swear it was real. The entire thing sounds legit, not made up. It's captivating.

I stopped reading halfway. I also had it on CD and the voices they used for the audio were SO fucking annoying that it bothered me so much that I couldn't listen to it anymore. I know that sound weird, but true. And then reading it, I just couldn't finish it. Everyone who did finish it liked it though.
Hopefully the movie will be more enjoyable than the book for me.
It will star Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams.

OH MY FUCKING GOD.
How stupid am I? I heard about this ages ago because of McAdams. OMG I love McAdams!! I'm so imagining her now. Not Bana though. Yeurgh.

^^ Yeah I like her, too.
I think Bana is hot, though.
Not Gerard-hot, but wait.. oh dammit, I don't discriminate, I'd make out with both of them.

Indeed, she makes time travell almost seem real.

i read this after a friend recommended it. at first i liked it but halfway through the writing started to annoy me and all the characters seemed a bit two-dimensional. and by the end i was downright disappointed. it would make a good movie. it's one of those rare cases where the movie might actually be better than the book.

I'm doing this backwards to usual. Often I watch a movie and like it and notice it's based on a book, so i go out and read that book and love it.
Gerard Butler as Henry would be so much better, especially for those MASS nudey scenes they'll have to have , but I suppose Bana will be good, he doesn't look as annoying as usual on imdb's page for the movie. Except he cannot pull of the American accent good enough if you ask me.

Yeah, this happened to me, too.
Except I couldn't even get to the end. I returned it to the library.

I absolutely loved this book. I admit I found it a tad hardgoing and confusing at the beginning, but it was more than worth it. After a while I was reading faster and faster to find out what happened next, next, next. And then of course I was gutted when I reached the end too quickly and it was all over. The sign of a terrific book, in my opinion. Fabulous!

I didn't know this book is being made into a movie. I hope it isn't crappy--I really enjoyed this book.

I really liked this book. The movie seems well cast but it will be interesting to see how they handle the time travelling. It got confusing at times in the book.

I liked the book. The male main character(can't remember his name) always arrives naked so they need someone hot!
