I worship this man, as much as my puny unintelligent but open to the universe brain can manage. He was a great man, a nice man.
I love the movie Contact, and it's been 5 years since I started the novel it was based on and am only up to page 160 or something... because it's like The Bible... I like to read little bits of it. It doesn't destroy the story because I already know what the story is about.
I have ordered Cosmos the book by himself and his wifey widow Ann, and hope to get it in a few weeks- apparently one of the best books of all time? That sounds insanely promising.

Anyone else a mega fan?
