Times Literary Supplement - Bad Sex Award
Every year the TLS holds the Bad Sex Awards for the worst description of sex in a 'serious' novel. They are embarrassing/awful/hilarious. I could only find the details of the 2004 awards, although the 2005 winner was announced last week. Read them and weep.

He's very funny as a Grumpy Old Man though, but Rick Wakeman is by FAR the grumpiest. The fact that I totally empathise with the Grumpy Old Men (and Women) is final depressing confirmation that I too am a GOW.
