    Default Harry in the Middle

I have an interesting task for die-hard Harry Potter fans.
What is the exact middle page of the Harry Potter story?
That includes all 7 books, as if you put them all together as one book. What is the middle page????

I'd love it if someone actually found out.

Which country's edition though? My Deathly Hallows had only 605 pages compared to 700+ in the US edition.

^ Why is the US one so much longer? Was something cut out or is it just formatting differences?

I'd love an X-rated edition of Harry Potter

Haha you sick buggers. The US editions have pictures and bigger words because of all the dummies over there not being able to read something that's not illustrated j/k! Although I think the kids ones at least have pics and that probably bumps up the page count significantly.
I smile because I have no idea what's going on

Wow they have illustrations? That's surprising. The UK/Australia editions don't have a single illustration... except for the front and back covers.

No there are just small illustrations at the start of each chapter. None are more than a few inches in height.

Actually that's close to the truth.

The American versions are dumbed down. Philosopher's Stone became Sorcerer's Stone, Pudding became Dessert, and chances are treacle tart, never made it in at all. Why? Because American editors didn't feel confidant that the kids would know what JKR was writing about, and when they inevitably asked their parents...well they wouldn't know either. Kinda insulting really, especially since she explains what the philosopher's stone is in the book.

Oh, and for the record, treacle is kinda like corn syrup and citrus juice.
