    Default Any Roald Dahl fans?

I LOVE his books and short stories.

What are your favourites? I pick Matilda and Charlie and the chocolate factory.

I love the twists in his adult stories too.

I LOVED Roald Dahl as a kid, he was my favorite author. I read The Witches so many times my copy fell apart. The Witches and Matilda were my 2 favorites (and I still watch either movie every single time it is on TV).

Oh yes, he is a genius. Love him. His books make great bedtime stories for my boys now.

LOVE HIM. Matilda is my all time favorite book. I read it so much that it fell apart, and for Christms several years ago I got a brand new, hardback copy. I also loved The Witches, The Vicar of Nibbleswicke, The Twits, and Boy.

When I was a little girl, my dad told about a story that I believe was written by Roald Dahl. It was about a man who starts eating royal jelly and eventually turns into a bee or something... I don't remember the details, but I know it was supposedly very dark and my dad always said there was something terrifying about it.

I myself read Matilda a lot when I was younger and LOVED it...I was really rather disappointed in the movie though. I thought to myself "I really hope that this movie doesnt put people off of roald dahl books thinking that they're all as bad as this"

My favorite books are Matilda, The Twits, The Witches, The BFG and Dirty Beasts

Royal Jelly is such a dark story yes. This couple feed their baby it and it's freaky!

How weird! Loved his stuff since I was about 4 (give or take the time he died) and loved them ever since. A few of the movies have been dodgy though.

BFG I bought the other day, as well as Danny, but to be honest the reason I got them was because fo John Krasinski mentioning his love for them. But I was going to get around to buying them sooner or later anyway.

My favourite is Matilda to read, The Witches for imagination. I just love Danny as well because it's based in the real world, and is very adulty for a kid's book. It just fascinated me to no end.

Love Roald Dahl and adore James and the Giant Peach. I'm trying to get my older heathen to read it but he hasn't bitten yet.

Loved RD as a kid. Faves: The Witches, Matilda, The Twits (always funny) and George's Marvelous Medicine.

Found Mum's copy of some of his adult books, Tales of Misadventure or something.... can't remember what it's called. Fucking weird though! GOod - just very weird.

I adore him. I just finished reading Boy Tales of Childhood.

It is an autobiography from aged 7 to 20.

It was fantastic and I couldn't put it down. I had no idea he had written some autobiographies.

I have most of his fiction books packed away to read to my angel when she is older. I can't wait to read him to her.

In his autobiography he mentions why he wrote Charile and The Chocolate Factory.

If you haven't read this book check it out you will not be disappointed.

Boy made me cringe where he came home with dark blue and red bruises on his bum. I remember reading this in a van and wanting to stand up and grab my butt to comfort it, lol.
Loved how his mother told the principal what-not though. Good on her deceased mind.
