Default Books with titles you can't remember.

I suppose we all have books we've read long ago and would maybe like to read again but can't because senility is starting to strike and we can't remember the title. So here's a thread to describe the book and hope that someone knows what it is. I'll start.

I was backpacking around Europe once long ago and had a book with me that was a comedy/satire. It was about a family of cavepeople who 'discovered' all sorts of things like cooking food, the wheel, etc. It was hilarious and then my bag got stolen and I cannot remember the name of it for the life of me.
Anyone know the name based on that slim info?

Check it out. I found my book by typing in the words I remembered in google and this popped up. Maybe you'll find yours here.

YOu guys are amazing. I'm a book freak but have never heard of these. I'm off to search.

***edit: I'm back and I'm exhausted. I got over 60,000 hits on one search and another, more reasonable 2000+ on another. The problem is this: I think the title was sarcastic and had nothing to do,really, with what the book was about. Fuck fuckety fuck fuck fuck.
