    Default 2009 NZ Top 10 Children's Books :(

I apoligise in advance for not have an online link for this, but it's from the 27th December 2009 issue of the New Zealand Sunday Star Times. This is the list of the bestselling Children's Books in New Zealand for 2009 -

    1) New Moon (special edition) by Stephenie Meyer
    2) Eclipse (special edition) by SM
    3) Breaking Dawn by SM
    4) Twilight (special edition) by SM
    5) Twilight (film tie-in) by SM
    6) Twilight (red-edged pages) by SM
    7) Eclipse (red-edged pages) by SM
    8) New Moon (red-edged pages) by SM
    9) Breaking Dawn (red-edged pages) by SM
    10) Miles to Go by Miley Cyrus

I was horrified when I first read the list.

Yes! I wouldn't have been surprised to see the 4 Twlight books, given how poular they are and the new movie... But the top 9 books on the list are just various editions of them and the tenth one a book "written" by Miley Cryus? *sigh*

I would be interested to see how it would look if they consolidated all the Twilght books into the separate stories.

Seriously? Nine out of ten are Twilight and the other is Miley Cyrus? They shouldnt allow the same book to be on there twice, that mess isnt right at all.

I fear for the children of New Zealand. Get out while you still can. The stupid is going to take over before you know it.
