Default Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley

This is one of the greatest books I have ever read and I was just curious who else out there has read it?

It is a story set in Arthurian times, in the days of Camelot and is told from the point of view of Morgaine, the half sister of Arthur, who was a Priestess of Avalon.

I read this back in the early 80's when I was about 13. I liked it.

If you enjoyed this, read her 'The Firebrand' which is about the fall of Troy, as told by Cassandra.

The other books of Bradley's that I read were crap, but these two were very enjoyable.

Oh I love that one too! The Firebrand was FANTASTIC!!

I read the other ones in the Mists of Avalon collection too, The Lady of Avalon, the Priestess of Avalon and the Forest House. All having to do with the same story, like the past of Avalon before Mogaine and Vivienne. Very cool too

Oh yes, read that a million years ago and love it. I wasn't so keen on the rest of the series, though.

Same here, I really like the first novel, the other ones, not so much.
But I still liked the series a lot
