It's tricky, just because you could compare a picture of Jared at 19 circa Gilmore Girls to a current picture of him at 26, and there would obviously be differences, purely because pretty much every guys' figure fills out in their twenties.

Ignoring the chances that he's just 'grown up' and filled out, I'll try looking for a picture circa 2005/2006 and this year...give me a sec

It's not only his body that has changed dramatically but as RIS said his face has changed, and not just because he's older. Looking at his face from Season 2 to Season 4 it has changed, but in one of those so subtle 'it looks different, but why?' kind of thing.

Jared in 'New York Minute', released in 2004 (so Jared would be say, 22 in this photo)

Jared in Summer 2008, filming Friday the 13th, would be either 25/just turned 26

Facial comparisons...

I tried to pick two pictures with similar angles...there were photos from the Friday the 13th set that showed a bigger difference but I thought I'd try and keep it scientifically sound

OK, so he's clearly bulked up. But it's difficult to see the brow thing because of his hair - and in the weird chicken photo he's pouting so his eyebrows are moving forward anyway...

But yeah, I see why there are suspicions. It could just be lots of hours in the gym and facial changes as he grows up. Or... it could be roids. Not sure.

Hmmm. From the photo evidence i say too close to call. His face in the above shots could just be from growing up and filling out. The body is quite different, but it *could* be just a result of hard work. I think i'd need to see acne, a moon face or a penis to be sure

What I notice more than any roid after effects is purely just how much he has changed, whether that be down to genetics or something else. I realise some people age at different rates, but in the space of three years he's become very hard looking.

Jensen has looked the same since he was about seven years old!

EDIT: I saw a pic of Jared where under his eyebrows were very red - waxing/threading?

Either his body is the rare type that bulks up a lot or he has "help". Looking at the bone changes, I'm guessing help.

Go watch Hell House and look for the towel scene. Then look at the shirtless pics from F13. He was cut in both, but the bulk and shaping of the muscles changes.

I thought that too, about how he was toned and obviously worked out Hell House era but his body looks different in F13. Maybe he's just had supplements/tougher regime? Or am I being too soft on him?

^^There are some guys who can naturally bulk up and quick. Hard, defined muscles. Rounded butts. Biceps of titanium...

Mmmm...wait, what was I saying? Oh yea.

My ex was naturally thin and cut, but when he worked out, no supplements or anything, just a change in diet and hours a day in the gym, he could pack on 50-60 pounds in 5-6 months and become ripped. Some guys he worked out with, who said they used roids, but I never saw them and he said he didn't either, would get bigger, but would just be blobs of flesh.

It was weird.

Just something about it grosses me out. I'm leaning towards 'roids now, i find roid bodies repulsive. I like a nice, lean, cut man.

His body in Hell House was fine, in my opinion. He was still big, and muscly, but it looked a lot more natural and therefore much sexier than it seems to these days. Bigger is not always better!
