One poster wrote, "An apparent suicide? Maybe it was staged to look like a suicide. Has anyone noticed how many Off-Duty Officers work for Scientology! These will be the same officers investigating this Suicide???? An investigation with Impartiality? Justice Denied?"
One poster on Tampa Bay's site claims the Police spokesperson might be a Scientologist. They wrote, "Interesting that the police spokeswoman would be Elizabeth Daly-Watts considering she's a scientologist herself. A quick search of Google will follow that up . Somethings fishy here"
In the past recent months Shawn had basically stopped all his anti-Scientology activity. He stopped posting on his website and on message board.

Yes, it was a contract, NOT a prenuptial agreement, but still:

In 2001, Cruise left Kidman just one month shy of their 10-year anniversary. The Hollywood couple didn't have a prenup; instead, under California law, Cruise was required to pay alimony for half of the length of time the marriage lasted. Had the parents of Isabella, then 8, and Connor, then 6, made it past a decade, Cruise would have had to shell out savings for the rest of Kidman's life, or until she remarried. This is pretty widely known. He has a similar deal with Katie.

THAT is why he dumped Nicole when he did. He wanted to limit the pay out. Donald Trump dumped Marla Maples for exactly the same reason, only their contract was for 4 years.

I would never "weep" for Nicole. She is as calculating in her way as Tom is in his. I'm not sure Katie is that smart or conniving and that will probably be her downfall since she's swimming with a whole lot of sharks.

I'm confused. Do you mean "contracted relationships" or prenups? Tom has contracted relationships with actresses to keep up his super hetero fronts. Donald Trump has prenups to keep all his money. Lou Perleman had a similar prenup with Ellen Barkin, and she got screwed over moneywise in a similar fashion.

For all I know Cruise probably had a prenup with Kidman, too. (If I knew where to research this, I would.) But for how much money Nicole got out of that marriage, it seems highly unlikely that he just filed for divorce a few days before 10 years to limit payout. That girl made bank. I remember hearing she was worth over $100 million in the early 2000s.

I totally agree with you that Katie's swimming with sharks. She better start developing some wiles about her. When her contract's up, I wonder if she'll try to get out or if she'll renew just because she's too scared to leave...

at least Nicole got a career out of the sham of a marriage, The only

Some engaging tidbits
So here's what I'm hearing about that relationship.
A source VERY close to the deal is saying there's a contract.
It's worth $5 million.
It's for five years.
There will be no sex.
The deal was sealed June 7.
That's what I'm hearing.

Seriously, if Katie is only getting 5 mil, she was taken. It's worth AT LEAST 10 mil to be married to that little crazy man.

I completely agree that Suri is Hartnett's. She hooked up with Josh for about a month before the whole TomKat thing took off. I think she took the interview with Tom, started dating him and found out later that she was pregnant with Josh's baby. He, ever the hero, tells her that he will marry her and be the father. She cannot believe how amazing he is and basically falls for the GMD for real at the beginning. Later on, she comes to her senses but is already in it so negotiates a prenup and goes on with the sham.

Also, he doesn't seem to do much of anything but spend money nowadays and date. He probably got quite a nice cash settlement out of the deal as well. I'm not saying he doesn't work anymore just that he doesn't seem to be seeking out higher quality stuff, which requires more of a work ethic.

You're thinking of the prenup, which is different. I think there was something like a $19 million trust fund for Suri, and $x million/year of marriage amount in the prenup.

But with 5 million plus prenup money, Katie won't be doing too badly once it's all over.

I like your theory. If Josh Hartnett really is the father of Suri, I wonder if he actually knows, or if he was given money to be quiet.
