I still think that this is Brad and Jen, but I think by the time he 'cheated' with Angelina, he was just looking for an excuse to get out of the marriage and used the 'you're addicted to coke' bit... By the time he was sleeping with AJ, he fell so madly in love with her, I really feel he would have left Jen anyway, even if she gave up the coke.

Just my take, but maybe there's another couple out there that no one's thinking of??? If so, I can't think of anyone, especially with a 'storied' marriage... There's not too many of those-

I'd think it's Nick and Jessica as per some of your interpretations of the word "storied."
Wasn't it revealed when Paris Hilton lost her sidekick or whatever where Lindsay's email to Paris read she just saw Jessica come out of the bathroom with powder on her nose or something like that?

Read this rumour on another site a couple of days ago, tied that BI to another one, which suggested that the party who brought the intervention then had a kid with the new love interest

When you take that into account, stacks the odds in the Jen <3s coke column! Which I was really surprised about, the whole girl-next-door image had me fooled. But image doesn't always meet reality, particularly in La-La Land...

If it is Brad and Jen - then maybe that's why she said she 'chose' to believe Brad when he said that he didn't cheat...

She slings no mud, he slings no mud... Being a cokehead certainly wouldn't help her 'girl next door' / 'america's sweetheart' image-

Both had damaging information about the other - hence the 'friendly' divorce...

I do NOT think it is Jennifer Aniston & Brad Pitt. No way. I just don't see this happening in any way, shape, or form. OK, this will be long (sorry to anyone bothering to read it!

It just happens to be about an issue that's affected me personally & i just want to share my take on this...)

(A bit off-topic)--First of all, let me say that i speak from experience on this subject; i was once a hardcore cocaine fiend. Hardcore. (Well, certainly not ANYWHERE NEAR Whitney Houston territory or anthing of that severity--I kept my marriage, job, nice house, car; never pawned any possessions or stole anything or any behavior like that; my marriage was always fine but experienced some rocky times due to my erratic behavior from the coke-use; but i was still, thankfully, far from laying in a gutter somewhere!) But, it WAS pretty bad. Did it everyday. Snorted it off my desk in my office at the law firm i work at. Went into the bathroom every 20 minutes while out at night with friends. Did it first thing in the morning. Always had my white powder on me. Snuck it onto airplanes; into concerts & other places where i knew i'd be body-searched--the risk was worth it. Couldn't imagine being without my coke. Did this for a couple years. My life spiraled out of control in many ways (lost ambition/interest in work, stopped going to the gym, behavior very erractic & was extremely unreliable; my healthy athletic body dwindled to skin&bones...). So, believe me, i know coke!!

In fact, seeing as i know that i (unfortunately) am more than qualified, i'd be more than happy to be appointed the dubious-but-lately-seemingly-more&more-in-demand duty of serving as "The Gossip Rocks Authority on Cocaine Matters". (heehee

) (Note: The "heehee" is my lame attempt at sarcastic humor poking fun at myself--believe me, there's nothing funny about cocaine addiction.)

SO, back to topic, I canNOT see Jen Aniston keeping up a very demanding work schedule (yes i know being an actor is SOOOOOO hard work

, BUT they DO have to get up at like 4 a.m. & work till late night everyday, and spend their time off memorizing lines; plus spending lots of time working out; time spent attending interviews, press junkets, ceremonies, etc....They may have charmed luxurious lives, but i begrudgeingly admit that they DO have busy, demanding, hectic lives). I can't see Jen holding her work-life together like she obviously did, if she was a hardcore coke addict. (As i said, my work-life went DOWNhill during my cokehead days. I couldn't hold my life together. I was struggling in everyway.)

Very tellingly & importantly, if coke is a big enough problem in a marriage that the husband (who is a well-known POTHEAD himself for Pete's sake--no anti-druggie himself!) threatens to walk out over the wife's coke use, then Jen's coke use must have been really substantial. And i just can't see that. I don't see ANY evidence of a substantial coke habit w/Jen--in her appearance or the way she seemingly conducts her professional & personal life. She always totally held/is holding her life together fine--always pulled together (never even seen a picture of her out & about all dissheveled looking, as if she's jonesing for a fix & out to get one); interveiwers remarking how pleasant, mellow, & easygoing she is during interviews & how she arrived there early, etc.; never heard her speak on a red-carpet interview like she was all hopped-up on coke --NOT the way a cokehead behaves. Her body is, yes, slim, but very toned, athletic, & healthy-looking--You don't have rock-hard abs and toned legs & arms by simply ingesting lots of coke and not eating--you have to WORK OUT BIGTIME to have a body like Jen, especially at age 37!. Jen is NOT AT ALL slim in the way that a coke addict is slim. (--gaunt, pale, bones jutting out, little or no muscle tone...)

Plus, believe me, i know the look of a coke addict--you can see it in their eyes (hello, Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Richie, Kate Moss)--and i have never seen that unmistakable telltale look in Jen's eyes. Jen always looked/looks happy, glowing, with a "sparkle" in her eyes... Cokeheads LOSE that "sparkle" in their eyes. I look at my driver's license picture from 2001 (pre-cokehead) and even though that picture was taken on a day when i was wicked stressed-out, had no makeup on, messy hair, was all dissheveled cuz i was running around with a million things to do at work that day--i have a "sparkle" in my eyes; a "glow" about me; a "twinkle" in my eyes; i just look "happy" in a way you can't fake (even though i wasn't particularly happy on that day). In contrast, I look at my driver's license picture taken in late 2004 (at the worst of my coke addiction), and even though in contrast to the 2001 picture, i'm very pulled-together, had makeup on & fixed hair, had the day off from work with fun plans to do later that day, and am smiling--i have a complete "deadness" in my eyes. Total blankness; no "sparkle"; no happiness to be seen even though i'm smiling.

I would bet my bottom dollar it is NOT Jennifer Aniston. (IMO) Plus, Jen has been bashed enough already in the past year-and-a-half (wrongfully, IMO), that i hate to see her be labeled a cokehead on top of all the other crap she's been wrongfully/inappropriately accused of. It's bad enough to hear Jen get repeatedly bashed for how *Jen the Shrew* supposedly "wrecked" her marriage to *that wonderful guy & perfect husband Brad Pitt* by wickedly "refusing" to bear a child for her *wonderful husband*, *poor, poor Brad Pitt*; now she's being speculated to have also supposedly "wrecked" her marriage to *poor, poor Brad Pitt* in an additional way by being a coke addict? I just DON'T think so. (Brad Pitt, off screwing his co-star, getting labeled the "victim" in one way was more than i could stomach; this story speculating of additional "victimhood" that Jennifer inflicted on him, is just barf-worthy, IMHO. "Poor, poor Brad Pitt", my ass. (--No offense to the people who think it's Jen/Brad in this Blind Item. My harsh comments were directed at that adulterous cad Brad, not the people who thought it was Jen in this BI or the people who think Brad is a great guy and/or dislike Jen.

You only need worry about back and forths if you ARE an Angie fan (or less than a rabid Jen fan). Funny but it's actually the arrival of one or two these peeps that seems to have coincided with 30+ page threads. Trust me. I really don't think this story is Jen and Brad. But I do think she's a coke user, even if she's not a total addict whose life revolves around it. And it's something she would have had to give up to get pregnant. I beg to differ with *addict* above about not being able to have a career and hide the use. Seen plenty of people manage to do this.
