Definitely not. There may be problems underneath the Witherspoon smile, but Reese was married under more auspicious circumstances while these two only have bad karma floating around their bed.

Claire Danes: a grudging compliment

See attached of the homewrecker at the London premiere of her latest release Stage Beauty. Believe me, it pains me to say that this is the best I've ever seen her. And it pains me even more to say that Stage Beauty, costarring the equally despicable Billy Crudup, looks to be a wonderful movie...part Shakespeare in Love, part La Cage Aux Folles. You'll note, they fell in love during filming... and poor Mary Louise Parker was left to pick up the pieces. So herein lies the dilemma. Do I boycott a terrific film in protest of their cheating ways? Or do I focus instead on the art of moviemaking above and beyond the shoddy morality of its two leading actors??? Your advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Billy Crudup: shut the f*ck up

Just what we all need. Another no good cheating son of a beeyotch trying to take the high road and using big words to cover up his philandering ways. While promoting his latest film Stage Beauty, costarring homewrecker girlfriend Claire Danes, Billy has not been able to avoid constant questions relating to his infamous desertion of an 8 months preggers Mary Louise Parker for his younger cast mate. His response to the New York Times was as follows: 'First and foremost it is personal, painful and involves an infant, and does not deserve to be exploited to sate the appetites of circulation counters and bored readers. I have never indulged our society's misguided notion that my personal life is relevant to my work, so any reporting surrounding that is necessarily hearsay, speculation or fantasy.... Each published report is based only on the trade of suffering.' Whatever, you prick. She was carrying your baby. You left her to jack someone else. You're scum. Period. And yes, your movie might be damn good. Even a masterpiece. But it doesn't change the fact that there is now a child in the world who will grow up knowing you for what you are: a dickless scumbag who will always be known as the moefoe who abandoned his baby mother at her most delicate. Now piss off and crawl back into that artsy fartsy hole you came out of. Deep breath. Let's move on, shall we?
