My vote is for Claire Danes and Billy Crudup.

1. They both scarred their reputations by hooking up.
2. She is clingy as hell. Just look at photos of them at the Knicks game. I also remember some paparazzi photos where she was hanging all over the man.
3. They aren't married.
4. She was filming The Flock in NM while he was filming two other movies at various locations before Christmas.
5. Her interviews recently would indicate there are issues. I'll try to track them down if I have time this week but she basically talks about how hard relationships are and if I am not mistaken there was something mentioned about how she wants a family "someday" but refuses to plan because she finds that her plans don't work out. I could also see her having problems conceiving given her ultra skinniness.
6. She defended the use of antidepressants in the press while her bf was filming a movie with Tom Cruise, no less.
7. She got a dog apparently because she has a fear of being alone.
8. There is also an age descrepancy, as was mentioned in one of the responses.


That relationship is definitely on the outs...he never looks that thrilled to be with her in pics. If you look at pics of Billy and MLP, he looks like he absolutely worshiped her...not true of the pics with Billy and Claire.

Something that isn't widely known since both MLP and Billy are so private is that they weren't "together" that entire seven years. She cheated on him several years earlier so there was trouble in paradise long before they split up for good. So basically MLP wasn't quite the angel she was portrayed to be. Ted had a blind vice about the situation and other gossip message boards deciphered and discussed how MLP was hooking up with a costar when Billy was away on some movie set...apparently he was devastated or so it was gossiped because he absolutely worshipped her. The relationship was never the same.

Anyway...the only links I think I can still find is the blind vice. It has just been too long ago and this is just all going off memory.

I'll see if I can't run down some of the message boards that it was decoded on. But it has been a long time. You will notice this was posted Jan. 2004 right after said break up in Nov. 2003, although there was speculation that it actually occured a couple of months earlier but wasn't reported until November. This is also a tricky one because Ted says that the person is always mentioned somewhere in that issue. Well in this one, Billy and MLP are mentioned but not by name, only in answer to a blind vice guess that pertains to the handsome cheater of few words.

Anyway...I am not saying that Billy handled the situation well in the least but MLP was no angel either. This was a troubled relationship long before Billy decided to move on.

There are some similarities..they are both actors but they don't fit if you look at all the clues collectively.

There is an age discrepancy where the dude is older than the woman. The woman is actually described as an ingenue which Jen is entirely too experienced and frankly too old for. Claire, however, could be considered an ingenue.

Also there is the thing about the bad karma surrounding their initial hook up. Vince and Jen aren't the ones with the bad karma...Brad and Angelina are the ones baring that load. Billy and Claire on the other hand both cheated on their significant others to be together.

Plus couldn't you see Vince being the one to provide the uppers and sleeping pills rather than intervening and getting her to straighten up?

Just some thoughts...I still think all clues point to Billy and Claire. Karma is about to bite them in the ass I am afraid.

Jen seems too "mature, being more than experienced at the art of loving and leaving" where as Claire has only had one previous serious bf prior to Billy. My vote still goes with Claire and Billy.

The Gawker Stalker site has them mentioned together in the last couple of weeks but at least in one of the mentions it describes Billy as having a very "vacant" look in his eyes when he was out with her at Starbucks. Does his distant look mean he was he just zoning out or contemplating leaving Claire? Hmmmmm.....
