Mariah and Paula both fit this B.I., but then again neither is totally washed up. Mariah's pulled off a comeback unfortunately, and Paula's got the American Idol job. Plus, Mariah got discovered by Tommy Mottola who's not black.

But I'll go with Paula, since she did screw around with Jackie Jackson. I remember the story about Jackie's wife dragging Paula out of the car and beating her down when she showed up at the house to pick Jackie up. Gotta love those crazy Jacksons.

^^I have to say this is not Mariah. Stories about Mariah hiding when her father was with her and how she did not "embrace" her blackness do not fit with this BI.

Sounds like Paula to me. Wasn't she involved (or rumored to be involved) with one of the AI contestants who was barely 20?

I also think it's Paula. She used to date black men. Then it seemed that she tried everything to distance herself from anything too black.
