Which part? I know someone who worked VERY closely with Segal for four or five years in the 90s. I haven't talked with him about Segal lately lol, but what I recall his telling me correlates exactly with what Himmmm said about Kelly, and also that Segal's martial arts schtick was genuine and that he was originally the real thing in that regard.

My friend stopped working for Segal not long after the association with Nasso began. He told me that, ironically, Nasso is a far more charming, interesting, cultured and intelligent individual than Segal.

However, my friend also told me that although Segal was a perfectly good boss and treated him very well, he was still obviously an egotistical asshole. Funny bit: Segal once challenged my friend to beat him at shooting. My friend is a former police sniper and SWAT team leader; he won, and Segal sulked. Kelly thought it was hilarious.

According to Segal's Japanese ex, he vastly exaggerated his martial arts background and capabilities, including saying he was the first American to establish a dojo in Japan. Apparently, the dojo belonged to his Japanese ex's Japanese father, but he told everyone who would listen it was his. There was other stuff, but that one cracked me up.

Exactly. And the news article that blinditembabe linked just lends credit to the other posters who said Himmmm was probably someone who heard/read a bit of gossip or news, then embellished it and acted as if he had insider information. Pffffffft.

I haven't believed an Enty blind since the Milli Vanilli saga. It's fun to guess, but I always thought he was a fraud. We've been calling him out on his shit since, dunno, 2005 on here. I'm actually kinda glad that no one takes him seriously anymore.

I've never understood the commenters on CDAN. There are lots of plants in the commentary. But the exaggerated enthusiasm and shock ( some people seem close to tears in reaction to the bullshit rapey blinds) is very strange.
