Re: The Legend of Toothy Tile
Well, just to keep the mystery guessing going; Lainey has a new theory on who exactly TT is....so I thought I would pass it along.
I, personally think it's Jake, but here's the latest from Lainey....interesting!
Ted Casablanca is a brilliant bitch. I think he's deliberately f&cking with us and I think Jake as Toothy is way too obvious. So I've been doing some thinking. And I'm wondering about Colin Hanks. Colin Hanks in Tom Hanks's son. He is a young, up and coming actor. He recently promoted King Kong, a blockbuster release. He has an on off relationship with Busy Philipps, the actress who played Audrey in Dawson's Creek. Colin also c0-starred with Kirsten Dunst in a movie called Get Over It, hence the nice 6 degrees of association with Tobey Maguire and Jakey himself that Ted has always been coy about in Toothy Tile clues. Colin was born in Sacramento, California, which is north of Orange County, where Ted said that Toothy was born. Finally, Ted made reference recently to Toothy going on some talk show in late October/early November and was caught making out with his boyfriend. Wouldn't you know it, Colin also appeared on the Ellen Show in October, air date I believe was October 31, which means that the taping was like a week or two before.
Now I haven't had the time or the patience to go through each and every one of Ted's columns to rule out Colin specifically so if he's already been on the 'And it's not' list, my apologies. And yes, call me ignorant and tell me to take my head out of my ass but until Jake suddenly finds himself on all fours in front of Tom Cruise, I'm still not sold.
Which obviously is an invitation to debate. So let's have it, people. Am I off my gossip rocker?

Re: The Legend of Toothy Tile
Interesting. Wasn't there one fairly specific clue once? Something about a marble table, maybe, and the author said "Yes, that is a clue". Am I imagining that?
edit: Ah, Yep, the very first one.

It was late in the afternoon; everybody had cleared out. Save Tile and his man-amigo, who extended his hands flat on the marble table (yes, that's a hint) until they were intertwined with Tile's.

So what's that about?

Re: The Legend of Toothy Tile
I guess it could be a good theory, but who cares about Colin Hanks? I mean, Toothy sounds like someone a bit more famous..

Re: The Legend of Toothy Tile
I'm totally confused about that marble table reference.......I mean, a marble table?? Where are there marble tables? I have no idea---anyone else????
Maybe I don't get out enough, because no where I ever go or have been has a marble table. Marble in the bathroom maybe....

Re: The Legend of Toothy Tile
Sacramento is way way north of Orange County. It is up past San Francisco.

But what does it have to do w/who Toothy Tile is???? Of course I've seen marble tables, but why is that a 'big' clue as to who Toothy is?? That's where my confusion lies....
