Elvira Hancock did!
or wait it's Keanu Reeves
he was in Devils Advocate
reminds me of The Matrix scene where he is going through security guns a' blazin

I agree with you. The coat has to be a hint and Keanu is the first one who comes to mind. Good looks and all.
By the way, how gorgeous is Michelle Pfeiffer in that pic?

I have no idea. But I definitely don't think it's Leo or Orlando. Or Keanu. I wouldn't say he was a highly regarded actor. The 'you think he'd know better given recent events' - Maybe an actor close to Heath or someone who commented on his death? Nah i really have no clue lol.

omgosh that mannequin thing is SO weird and freaky! mannequins scare me like clowns do. not good.
keanu seemingly fits but he keeps such a low profile. i can't imagine him at a party blatantly using in front of a ton of people. he doesn't even strike me as the type to go to parties at all...
this is a great blind!

Has Greysfang been in on this one yet? Where the hell is she?

Hmmm, what about Aaron Eckhart? If by "impish" Lainey means "devilish" as opposed to "elven" then he'd fit. She always talks about what a jerk he is and he's played devilish characters. Plus, he was in Any Given Sunday ("any given party") and just starred with Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight ("given recent events..."). Also, he seems to be pretty well-respected as an actor and has been nominated for a Golden Globe and Independent Spirit Awards.
ETA: I don't know about the "involved and informed and aware" part, though. Has he done a lot of charity work or been an activist?

Jude's assitent is a man called Ben Jackson who's worked with him for quite a while so I think he can be ruled out.

Orlando Bloom came to mind. He was an elf in LOTR. He was a cavalier swashbuckler in POTC.

He was in the movie Thank You for Not Smoking. A reference to that perhaps?
I came back to this and thought the impish good looks pointed to someone who isn't classically handsome, like Hugo Weaving or Dennis Quaid.

Keanu Reeves is well-liked, but hardly acclaimed. Just the opposite, I'd say.

Dennis Quaid not classically handsome??? Bite your tongue!
Sorry, just kidding. I have a crush on him - I always think of him as one of those very boyish, All-American-type men who's aging very very well.
But, yeah, anyway, Lainey could mean impish in the way you've described above. Just not my Dennis!

*waves white flag*
I have a crush on him as well. I have for years, but my friends just don't get it.
He just happened to be the only example I could think of.

Just thought I'd point out that Leo has been removed her Freebie Five after having been on for quite a while.
Don't know exactly when he came off, but I remember when he was on her list and wondered to myself "ewww, why?"

It is someone who travels regularly to Vancouver or Toronto to work. That is the reference to border security. Most of Lainey's gossip involves Van. or T.O. locations since she is based in Van. and her bosses are in T.O. I agree that this is likely a musician -- could it be Michael Buble yet again? She has dropped a few blinds about him lately.

She says he's a 'highly regarded actor'. So it cant be a musician. Unless it's someone who's both.
