Now I've read it with Madonna in mind it totally makes sense.
Saying the rift wasn't about infidelity i.e. her record producer, or her being a workaholic, she's totally driven by her career. It's totally Madonna though I wouldn't see Guy as the violent type.

Doesn't the pish-posh reference allude to Madonna acquiring an English accent and living in a country manor sort of thing?

I suck at Blind Item's, but reading through all of that, it does sound like Madonna. Pity, for someone who - like it or not -was a huge feminist icon during her early career for being so ballsy, is now the subject of domestic violence.

DV just makes my blood boil, I had to put up with too much shit from my old man growing up. I may not like Madonna in the last 5 years (like Tom Cruise, she's well down the Crazy path!) but I feel a lot of pity for her now and hope she gets out of this abusive relationship soon, if this BI is true.

Yup. It sounds like Madonna. She's was never into drugs even during early 80's party scene.

I read, on a message board, a while back.. several months, maybe more like a year or so (I can't even remember the name of the MB, it closed down but might be back up again - something like handbag fashion or something??) Anyways, I was shocked to read on there that someone knew Ryan beats Reese... At the time, I thought no way.. so this seems kind of right just b/c I had read that (it made me look at them way differently).

The person also said he cheats on her and gets extremely angry b/c she's more popular / successful than he is. (it's interesting to read but you never know what's true, of course)
