Well being that Lainey was in the UK or Europe somewhere when this was posted, I am going to guess either Madge or Sienna Miller. I know it is awful but Sienna getting smacked makes me feel a little glee. I do not however respect anyone who beats anyone, even if the person in question is Paris Hilton, well....

In the clue, the word 'workaholic' is used to describe the woman, so again I think all signs lead back to Madge... (although Reese is pretty ambitious herself from what I hear)

I had a thought that it could be Hillary Swank & Chad Lowe. Hillary always plays the 'tough' roles and there were rumors when they were splitting about her work, infidelity, etc.

My first thought was Christina Aguilera... especially the part where it says "she's been taking it for years". Christina's dad was physically abusive towards her and her mom when she was a kid. I really hope it's not her though, that would be so sad for her to repeat the same mistake that her mother made.

Its totally Madonna. The references to speaking her own mind, tough as nails, rumored rift. The rift has been rumored to be because she is a workaholic or because she's screwing a guy in her band, or because she's so much more successful than he is.
Sean Penn was heavy handed towards her in their marriage, so thats where the "taking it for years" comes from. Its Madonna and Guy.
