The bukakke ending would have only been known by one of the three participating. That's why I think it would have been Harvey. I guess it's possible that the unnamed third person would have told the story and known the reason for the actress to participate in this.

Which couple seems happier? Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but Gretchen & her hubby look a little forced here. Maybe not?

Just came here to post this. She's free...at least for now. Something tells me Harvey isn't going to give up on her though.

My meagre 2 cents here....of course i am obviously small potatoes here, but i was involved in a similar situation. A casting director very similar in appearance to HW made his intentions towards me known...when i would audition for him, his camera assistant would leave the room, close the door and the CD would come on to me, at one point hugging me and grabbing my ass and kissing me. All the regularly auditioning actors know all the casting directors in this city and it's not unusual to be friends with some of them, and at the very least to be friendly with them. I admit, i had done some subtle flirting with this man--really harmless stuff, like what you might do with the Subway worker who makes your sandwich. In any case, i guess this casting director thought that this gave him permission to do this to me, and indeed i found out later that this was his modus operandi and that he pulled this with many other actors. He texted me right after and asked me to wait for him and i told him no, and said that i had to pick up my mom (even at that point, trying not to make a big deal about it, hoping that it would all blow over--that's the way the game is played). However, the next time i auditioned for him, i was so shaken and upset he knew something was up. I ended up telling my friend (another casting director) what had happened and all hell broke lose. She told her friend, the owner of the studio, what was going on, and to make a long story somewhat shorter, the pig casting director threatened to take all of his business out of the studio unless she told him who blew the whistle on him. Needless to say, this casting director has black-balled me and won't see me for anything. He is the busiest casting director in the city, so it hurts me career-wise big time. It's really a no-win situation--if you turn them down, you are screwed, and if you go for it, you could also be screwed (as in Mol's case) because they still have all the power and there is no guarantee whatsoever that they will help you out, and you always know that as soon as you stop putting out, you will be black balled as well. It's a horrible business.

But if she has WB in her corner, which seems to be the case since they liked her in Affleck's 'The Town' and so gave her this, I doubt he'll be able to get her. One hopes.

Thanks. In my opinion it's best not to attract any of that kind of interest from a casting director, cause once you do, it's all a fine balancing act of trying to keep every one happy without actually doing anything, cause you're fucked once you do.

Or at least have good looking casting directors .

Seriously though, thanks. It's just one of those things that come with the business. There are many jobs with much worse occupational hazards.

Maybe, but those hazards are usually known by the general public and the people who take on the risk get respect or sympathy for it. When I was growing up, I wanted to be an actress and was really into theater, but when I got old enough to make the decision as to what I was going to do with my life, I decided against acting, and it was because of this sort of thing.

I, too, am sorry this happened to you.

I just can't believe that in this day and age men still feel the need to resort to coercion in order to get their dick wet.

I think it's the coercion bit that they enjoy.
