What is Lainey's obsession with Bosworth? Was she an "Orli" fan when they were dating? She really has it in for her.

OH, and I know for a fact that Lainey is complete and utter BS. A few years ago she posted something nasty about Renee Z. and said that she was in LA. Well, my family and I had just eaten dinner across from RZ in Vancouver several nights prior and saw her at our hotel all that week--not in LA. Lainey just makes shit up to get hits, or she takes FAKE tips that random people email her and runs with them like they're legit stories (*cough*ERW/ASkars rumors*cough*). Don't believe anything on her site.

I think she was an Orli fan. I don't pay much attention to her site but have heard of her liking Orlando, at least around the time he and Kate dated.

I think she's never found Orlando Bloom attractive for some reason. I think this goes way back - comparing him to what he's not: Johnny Depp.

As for Bosworth, I remember her pointing out years ago that she was a major cokehead when she was looking emaciated. But later commenting that she must've gotten some help (and was looking better) after a while. This new stuff about her going after non-single men sounds like something new she's picked up. Is certainly a recent angle.

Um, it's a gossip site. Take it with a grain of salt as with other gossip sites. At least she doesn't spill the words out of the publicist's mouth as if it were gossip (a la Page Six). Your Renee Zellweger story just sounds like it is timing - perhaps something posted later than when she was in LA. Big deal. Besides, do you have some groundbreaking evidence that Evan Rachel Wood and Alex Skarsgard aren't or were never dating to some degree?

Yeah, she is. Lainey has also mastered the art of keeping herself, and all of her experiences, at the center of things when the gossip is weak.

Oh I think Lainey gets paid to focus on certain celebs. Ok, you might think that she has a real hate or love for certain celebs that appear in her columns regularly. I find it suspicious.

I quit her site because of those annoying ads that pop up in the text while you scroll down the page. Also, her daily Twilight postings <ahem!> are very weak, even if she insults the fans.

I've said it before but I'll say it again. Back before Lainey got popular with her website, waaay before she got any deal with Canada's etalk channel or whatever, she was on another gossip site with a big blind item section. Some people had first-hand accounts of their encounters with celebs and production people. One of these people caught Lainey practically plagiarizing her first-hand story and passing it off as her own knowledge. No credit given anywhere to indicate that she got the info from a web site, much less that it was somebody else's story. and Lainey was known to be a registered poster there in the early days of the web site, but of course she hardly ever posted, just lurked.

So Lainey has about zero credibility, I think she just likes to mislead people into thinking she's in the know and greatly exaggerates about her access to sources who would know.
