Michael Pitt does fit. I've read many similar stories about his diva antics on the set of Boardwalk Empire. Shame, he's talented too.

I don't know about it being Michael Pitt. She hasn't tried to hide the fact that he's a diva. And she kind of implied the actor is beloved. I don't think Michael Pitt is all that popular with fans. Gosling is a very serious actor with lots of adoring fans.

I'm pretty positive Lainey revealed this last week in this article about Ryan doing his press for Gangster Squad: Ryan Gosling promotes Gangster Squad on Conan, Kimmel with Will Farrell|Lainey Gossip Entertainment Update

She talks about his fake accent: "It’s a little slick, sure, but that just goes along with his fake New York accent."

And then sneaks in a hat reference later: "It would be so easy to look goofy, you know?, with pants hiked up over the stomach, having to worry about a hat all the time."

Good catch KKRocks. Methinks Lainey is exaggerating. Ordering food off set isn't such a big deal and if it's missing something anyone would send it back. As to the hat thing, if someone with a big head tried it on and stretched it out then it's not going to sit right. This sounds like a disgruntled gopher.
