This is fascinating. I hope GMD shennanigans are exposed as it's been going on for so long.
What are your thoughts on the US article about Katie. Do you think CO$ would do something to hurt her physically.

...our News station tried to do a story on them because they hadn't paid an airconditioning installer his $ and the reporter got walked across street, woudln't let them film the building, the whole shebang. I thought the Reporter & the scientology person were going to come to blows..

I don't think they are allowed to read bad stuff about CO$ on the internet-they might become a "Suppressive Person" or some such.

The badass guitar rendition of the Mission Impossible theme was flashback point for me. Cruise ship musicians are unmatched in their mad skillz. That was one of the highlights of the party for me. Although GMD dancing and clapping while watching the movie clips was endearing and made him appear so special. Looked like somebody laced the kool aid again. I should have attained infinite power by now just by hitting replay on the birthday party. Heard the "bash" set them back $300,000. Wonder what closing Disneyland will run and will IT be the BEST birthday EVER in its AWESOMENESS?

They've actually done this before, not paying contractors and such because each org has to be financially independent of their own income, and sends any profit upstream to management. So, with their current dwindling of numbers and added pressures, the orgs would rather be in debt to non-Scientologists than be bailed out by management. It would explain why the Santa Ana org is three months behind in rent. Money's also flying out the door with all the PI's they've hired to follow and unmask Anon's.

If you go to the April protest, visit the forums at Enturbulation.org » Scientology Activism and Organization and check the planning board for your city. There's also instructions on there on how to get on IRC and be involved. If you go:

a. Hide your identity in someway, mask, scarf, crazy wigs, beards, face paint, sunglasses, just check your local board for the laws on this. Some places allow masks, some don't, and law enforcement in some area are making special exceptions because COS's fair game tactics.

b. Go with someone else, don't go alone and don't leave alone. More people together are less likely to get cornered by these guys and intimidated. Power in numbers.

c. Take public transit if you can. If you must drive, park a walking distance away and hoof it. Also, don't go directly to your car afterwards and de-mask. Almost all protest sites reported Anon's being followed to their car and their plates written down.

d. There's blanket rules to each protest which are posted on Enturbulation. Most are common sense, but read them anyway. Above all, be nice to the cops since most law enforcement departments (baring Atlanta) seem to be on Anon's side.

e. Learn some of the common jokes, like longcat, rickroll, over 9000, and such. Baring that, have a sense of humor. If you don't laugh at these protest or aren't having fun, you're doing something wrong.

f. Read everything you can get your hands on about Scientology. Wiki, xenu.net, exscientologykids.com, enturbulation, xenutx and Tory Magoo on YouTube, BBC Panorama's Scientology and Me, everything. Most of the purpose of these protests is public awareness without sounding like tinfoil hats. Probably a good idea anyway because you can get more out of the hollywood wars if you learn what an SP or PTS is, what fair game is, what the third dynamic is, and why Mr. Moviestar is so nuts.

g. Prepare to be photographed as well and don't be spooked by it. The Scientos will be trying to snap the protesters hoping to get something to unmask one, and other Anons will be taking pics to put up on flickr, the imageboards, and for videos.

Venus the bottle in one hand hand and flipping off with the other is totally me, but purple really isn't my thing - Barneyphobia. Now if that comes in red I am so on it or should I say in it. Is that what Xenu's supposed to look like? Kind of common looking for a supreme alien leader non?

Anyone know where to glimmer the basics about this group without getting into one of their webs? If possible I'd like explanations that have pictures because I like to look rather than think about it much. You know a pop-up version primer on CO$ without all those annoying acronyms for the doublespeak.
