I agree on the William Petersen guess. Now that's a long running show with several spinoffs. Chris Meloni has 4 movies coming out this year so I don't think it's him.

My only quibble with him as this BI, is that it says, "This one involves an actor who would be A list by the definition that he is the star of a long running dramatic television series. Films? He's done a couple, but is really known for his television role." and Wyle hasn't been on ER in a couple years.

I think the "is" means that the guy's currently on the show.

But he's been guest starring on ER plenty, and he's slated to return to ER for a number of episodes next season (ER's last season.
