Lily Allen could fit. The blind mentioned an abortion, and Lily was pregnant. But I think all the signs point to Wino, especially now she's got emphysema, which can be AIDS related.

Unless I'm confusing two different blind items, wasn't the HIV+ singer referred to as "America's Sweetheart"? I don't think that Amy Winehouse could fit the blind.

They were two different blind items. No-one was sure if they were both about the same singer though. One was from the panache report.

I saw some comments over there that EL had promised to reveal something about the singer, suggesting that that last little PS is about her.

And there's talk that Winehouse had sex with Pete Doherty when he was still with Kate Moss. If that's the case, that would start to up the ante for name recognition about spreading any disease.

Lily Allen was public with her pregnancy, wasn't she? I think she had a miscarriage, but Winehouse on the other hand, hasn't had any public pregnancies and could have had a brief pregnancy ended by abortion in the past couple years without too much word of it leaking out.

Last week, allegations persisted, on the backend, there was a media frenzy bidding war for the list because it contained identities of some of the most famous and richest men on planet earth. If this isn't the same person, that would mean that there are two HIV+ "pop princesses". Not impossible, but rather unlikely.

Also, EL did use "Pop Princess" or "America's Sweetheart" for the blind about the lip-synching singer who paid off the singer in his office wasn't it? I think that's where some of the confusion is coming from.

I think it was panache report. I think they must be two different pop stars. They cant be British AND America's sweetheart.

And hell YES it could be 2-I could see her AND/OR Amy Winehouse. Both stayed wacked out of their minds most of the time. Both could easily have it-plus dear Lindsey!

Lol. I don't know. I would have thought that the term 'America's sweetheart' would only be for someone who is actually American though. I agree Mcjag, that it could easily be both Amy and Britney.

Britney isn't America's Sweetheart, though. It might be someone who's not quite as famous, but has a clean reputation.

Imo, the HIV+ singer that EL is talking about is Winehouse.
