Yeah, but she didn't sacrifice her dignity and career for this man, as the blind item implies. I don't think anyone thought their pairing was controversial, or that the public was outraged by it.
I vote Danes and Crudup. She sacrificed her dignity by starting an affair with a father to be, and her career with that bomb of a movie she starred in with him (had a totally stupid name, can't remember it tho).
