Yeah Chris Hemsworth spent years on Home & Away - I HATED him on that show. His wife most definitely isn't more famous than him in any way at all and they are newly married so it doesn't sound like him at all.
And so, I will keep fighting to make the US a more progressive, multi-cultural country, and my fight starts on GossipRocks - mikesandy

^ Lol. Right?
Bond isn't high profile enough? And Dragon Tattoo?
All of God's children are not beautiful. Most of God's children are, in fact, barely presentable.
Craig is not A-List like Clooney, Pitt, Depp or DiCaprio. Dragon Tattoo underperformed at the box office and Quantum of Solace was not a hit w/ the critics.
Most Bond movies aren't critical hits. That's not really the point of Bond movies.

So being James Bond makes someone automatically A-List? Tell that to Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Roger Moore. I actually like Daniel Craig. He's my favorite Bond. No one would call him a superstar at this point, though. Not everyone is a James Bond fan.
The blind didn't say the actor had been in trouble w/the law regarding hookers. I took it to mean that his wife knew it was a problem.
In the OP it mentions Sean Penn by way of comparison, so that rules out Daniel Craig I'm sure.
It also says he's looking for that "one role" to put him over the top. And I think that's sort of the opposite of what you'd say about Daniel Craig. It seemed like he was going to be A list for a while and then he didn't make it. But the wording of the OP doesn't sound like it's him.
Firstly, if James Bond isn't a perfect role (and Blomquist, too), I don't know what is. It's unlikely to win him an oscar, if that's your criteria for A-list categorization, but the blind does say superstardom and, yes, I think Bond qualifies as superstardom. Maybe it didn't do much for Dalton, but it did for the others - at the time, anyway. And while Quantum of Solace may have been disappointing compared to its predecessor, it still made money. Above all, Casino Royale was a massive success. How can you argue with that?
Next, this actor seems to live in LA while Craig lives in Blighty, so that doesn't fit. And the comment, 'they once went a whole year without sex,' makes him even more unlikely since their one year wedding anniversary was only a few weeks ago. I think we can rule him out.

Only one I can think of is David Ducovney.
And we know he has a problem with sexual addcitions
