Kevin Smith has always cracked me up with his feelings about Reese. Who cares that she thought his writing was shit. So do many others. LOL

I am not convinced this blind is Reese though.

This! Again, people... Reese may be "Type A personality" but that doesn't mean this is her. He's just a bitter asshole... maybe it's American Airlines or whoever made his fat ass purchase a second seat to hold said ASS. Maybe she is a bitch... or Type A - which burns my ass up because when a man is Type A, he's simply motivated or career conscience but if a woman is those things, she's a money-hungry bitch who isn't to be respected... Anyhoo, I digress. she may be a bitch but I've never heard that she fucks people out of parts or participated in any casting couch scenarios (jeez, look how old she was when she started making movies), and I've never read that she fakes charity shit... if that were the case, why not get something a little more glamourous than Avon, for crying out loud.

In short, I don't buy that backstabber is Reese anymore than I buy Himmmm is RDJ...

ETA... I think it sounds more like Gwyneth than Reese.. I mean, if we're saying that enty could be adding things so that we can make Reese fit, then why not say he could be lying about the marriage and divorce? Or hell, let's make it Angelina and he's just lying about the racism.

Reading that link made me wonder if Kevin is one of the Hmmmm guys. He sure seems to bitch and blab. Perhaps Reese thought Joey was mocking her since the film went straight to video.

Yeah, when I read that I thought that if Reese told that story it would be "I auditioned for him and tried to make jokes and he was so rude to me, then didn't hire me. Then his girlfriend came up to me at the release of my movie which went straight-to-video mocking me, telling me how great I was. I hate Kevin Smith!" and it would make sense.

and her parents were in the business and her godfather is steven spielberg - she didn't need the casting couch or racy movies to get her foot in the door.

I think this is Reese. The Kevin Smith link, the CLUELESS/Alicia Silverstone, the abortions, all seem to point to her. What films would she be buying up? FREEWAY? TWILIGHT?

That article by Kevin Smith didn't tell me anything other than that he's bitter that Reese doesn't think he's as much of a genius as he considers himself to be.

I also don't buy that Joey Lauren Adams wanted to 'congratulate' Reese. Or, if she did, she was put up to it by Fatty who knew damn well that Reese would think they were making fun of her.

Fatty is someone who already didn't hire Reese for a movie she really wanted, and then apparently trash talked her to his colleagues because he felt insulted by her attempt to make business-like conversation (comparing a movie she did to the movie with the role she was interested in). So he shows up at this opening and then sends his girlfriend (you think she didn't already know about his dislike of Reese? Please.) up to her to "congratulate" her on a flop. His irrational hatred of Reese just makes me think less of him. Not her. The reasons he's given for it are laughable. If they were both 12 year old girls in 7th grade, it might make sense, but unless there's a lot he's leaving out, it doesn't.
